Dobrovolnický program FISU – FISU Volunteer Program 2016

Oddělení FISU pro Akademická mistrovství světa má záměr vytvořit pro sezónu 2016 FISU Dobrovolnický program, který bude dobrovolníkům z celého světa nabízet možnost získat zkušenosti na AMS.

The FISU World University Championship Department have the will to develop an International Volunteer Programme to be implemented from 2016 WUC season. This programme has been carefully studied internally and is based on clear objectives and the timeline develop below.

Objectives

The objectives below have been defined to benefit the three different stakeholders of this programme:

• Offer worldwide volunteers the possibility to gain experience at an international sport event and develop event management and communication skills. It is also an opportunity to create worldwide contact with the International University Sport community;
• This programme will allow FISU to increase his network and database of future leaders in sports management;
• The Organising Committee will have the opportunity to benefit from outsiders’ vision on their event and an added value of key volunteers in important organisational areas.

General terms

• A defined number of international volunteers per WUC will be agreed with each OC;
• The Organising Committee is in charge of local transportation, accommodation and full board;
• The volunteers or their NUSF are in charge of the travel costs.

Selection criteria

• Reasons of application and relevance in the frame of the WUC;
• Language skills & field of study;
• Work & volunteer experience;
• Sport knowledge;
• Geographic location.

Timeline

• June 2015: Launching of the International FISU Volunteer Programme;
• Registration procedure in three stages – Deadline:

1. 30 November 2015 for Championships in January-April 2016
2. 29 February 2016 for Championships in May-August 2016
3. 31 June 2016 for Championships in September-December 2016
